The interior of this apartment was created around fifteen years ago and, over time, required a substantial rethink. While preserving the main layout and functional zoning, we refined a number of spatial decisions and completely reworked the visual character of the interior, making it more contemporary, layered and expressive.
As the apartment is used by the owners as a secondary residence rather than as their primary home, the interior could be conceived with a greater degree of emotional intensity and decorative richness while remaining comfortable and coherent.

The original layout of the apartment proved to be largely successful, so the project did not require radical restructuring. Instead, the focus was on carefully refining the existing plan while creating an entirely new character for the interior.
Our intention was to achieve a sense of contemporary Moscow luxury without relying on obvious decorative gestures, excessive shine or conventional expressions of status. The richness of the interior comes instead from a sophisticated colour palette, contrasting textures, a high level of detailing and numerous bespoke solutions.
Because the apartment is used periodically rather than as a primary residence, the interiors could be made more expressive and emotionally engaging. Comfort and functionality remain essential, but equal importance is given to the impression the space creates each time the owners return to it.
At the same time, the abundance of detail is carefully controlled. Materials, colour and proportion are used to create a coherent visual language, allowing the apartment to remain balanced and comfortable rather than overly decorative.
The result is not simply a renovation of the previous interior, but a complete reinterpretation of it: more contemporary, complex and expressive, while retaining the strengths of the original spatial structure.
