The apartment is located in a newly built residential development in the historic centre of the city. This contrast became the starting point for the project: the contemporary architecture of the building is complemented by more classical references, allowing the interior to respond naturally to its surroundings.
The concept is based on a calm and considered balance between classical elements and contemporary design, without stylistic extremes or excessive decoration.

The main objective was to preserve a strong sense of continuity throughout the apartment. With a relatively rich spatial programme, it was particularly important that the individual rooms should not feel like separate stylistic episodes, but rather form part of one coherent composition.
Classical elements are combined with contemporary forms and details, while a consistent colour palette unifies the interior and reinforces its restrained character.
Bespoke furniture and objects designed specifically for the apartment play an important role in the project. Kitchen islands, consoles and several other elements were conceived as an integral part of the architecture, adding individuality without making the space feel overloaded.
The result reflects the concept agreed with the client from the outset: a contemporary, restrained and coherent interior in which classical references are not treated as quotations, but as a natural part of the overall design language.
