The residential development in Pestovo consists of attached houses arranged around a popular golf course. The owners are passionate golfers, so the opportunity to spend weekends directly beside the course was especially important to them. The house not only enjoys panoramic views over the fairways, but can also be reached directly by golf cart, creating a particularly close relationship between the architecture, the landscape and the owners’ lifestyle.

The main idea behind the interior was not to compete with the surrounding landscape. Every room opens onto panoramic views of the golf course, which change continuously with the seasons and remain the strongest visual element of the house throughout the year.
For this reason, the interiors were deliberately kept restrained. We avoided excessive decoration, overt stylistic references and unnecessary visual accents. A calm palette, clean lines and understated materials create a neutral setting in which the landscape becomes an integral part of the interior.
A small spa pavilion was added next to the living room, providing a place to relax after a round of golf. It too is oriented towards the panoramic views and continues the overall concept of connecting the house as closely as possible with its natural surroundings.
The entire upper floor is dedicated to the children’s area and is reached by a bespoke spiral staircase, one of the few deliberately expressive architectural elements within the otherwise restrained interior.
While the living spaces remain deliberately neutral, the bathrooms were treated in a more decorative manner. Colour, texture and pattern are used here as independent accents, creating a contrast with the quieter character of the rest of the house.
The result is a coherent, calm and highly comfortable interior. Its character is defined less by individual objects or stylistic gestures than by careful ergonomics, a balanced colour palette and the constant visual connection with the landscape.
